Sometimes the ones that give us the biggest laugh is ourselves, which is exactly what I have done. I finished my postcards the week before Thanksgiving, feeling really proud of myself and thinking I was going to one of the first ones in the mail. Well the mailman proved me so wrong. I opened the box the other day and there are 3 postcards before Thanksgiving. I laughed at myself all the way to the house. For everyone knows Farm Girls do not let grass grow under their feet.
I sent mine out Friday.
I want to first thank Cee Jay for hostessing this wonderful swap.

'Just want to say it sure is beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here! Thank you SO much to Linda, Darlene, Beth, Marlene, and, of course, CJ for all the wonderful Christmas cheer that arrived in my mailbox over the past few days! I really needed it to feel like Christmas - thank you all so much! LOVE your postcards!

Hi Everyone! I got one card so far - thanks CJ :) I'm going to be doing my best to get my cards mailed today...but we got (very unexpectedly!) 20cm of snow last night...and it's still snowing and snowing. I'm not sure if the post office is open or not - but I will try to get out this afternoon if it stops, or, I will mail them first thing tomorrow morning, or once the roads clear. I'm sorry for sending them out late :(

So far postcards from CJ, Linda O., Linda T., Sherry, Karla and Marlene. I love them. Nini sent her's early and I'm the closest to her and I did' receive it yet. It is either lost or the mail lady put it in the wrong box. She does that often! Yikes!

OOOOOOOOHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I feel so badly, Darlene! I honestly figured you were the first to get one!!! I will make you another this weekend! Do you think it would be better if I send the next one in an envelope, just to be safe? I am so sorry this has happened! Is anyone else still waiting on one from me? If so, please let me know asap! I am SURE they should all have arrived by now, with the exception of Joyce's, of course... Joyce, should I mail you one in an envelope, too, just to be safe? Darlene and Joyce - I sincerely apologize again! I have such a full schedule this week, and this past weekend was not my own at all! This is why I tried to get them done early - I knew I would be steamrolled this month with appointments and "must do's". Please bear with me - your new postcards are right at the top of me list, I promise you! I will try to get them done by Friday. You both are being so gracious, and I appreciate that. I just can't help feeling badly that you didn't receive yours!!!! UGH!!!
This past weekend I received lovely postcards from Brenda and Lisa! Thank you so, so much, girls! Love them!
