Yay! So glad you girls are starting to receive them! Every card is different - even the backs... I know they probably look like a three year old decorated them, but I wanted each one to be simple and different. Placed all together, address-side up on the table, they were adorable... Individually? Probably not so much! But the love is still there in each one! :) <<I tried!!!>>

Aw so glad you like 'em, girls! I usually am a last minute kind of girl, but with our schedule, I just had to get them out early. It was weird sending them before Thanksgiving, but it sure felt good to know they were on their way!

I like the Vintage postcard, CJ. Unfortunately, my "postcards" will arrive in envelopes. I showed them to my postmistress and she said she would hand cancel them, but that when they went through the sorter machine the foam sticker I added to each one might come off. So - envelopes it will be. :-(

Thank you CJ for the darling vintage postcard with a little girl pulling her sled in the snow.
Love vintage and clipped it with a mini wood clothes hanger to the christmas tree in my
craft room.
My postcards were mailed out today.

CJ and other swappers, I am not in this fun swap, but I have wondered for a long time, what kind of adhesive is best when you are adhearing a photo or card or ??? With another piece to make a postcard that can make it to its destination in good condition?

For paper items I used Elmers Glue Dot Runners, applying it in several placed on the back, including up to the edge. Then I also use gluestick over the entire surface. I find that gluestick alone is not enough. I place together and press under heavy books for a while, until the it is dry. If I were to embellish with buttons or other similar items I use Aleenes 7800 All purpose glue, pressing until set. However, I never send anything "lumpy" in the mail without placing in envelope with adequate "padding" such as bubble wrap, tissue, or layer of cardstock, etc.
