Thought I'd share a pic of my cards. This is a large picture frame I put wire and buttons on for an ATC (Artist Trading Cards) display. Decided to use it to display my postcards. There are a few ATCs included.

There are TWELVE PARTICIPANTS in this swap . . so you know how many postcards to prepare! This number would include yourself, so you will mail ELEVEN postcards, one of them will go to a Farmgirl in Canada.

Hi Farmgirls, 
Several of us have had a lot of fun with the annual POSTCARD swap each summer for several years and some of the participants have requested that we do a Christmas Postcard swap using recycled Christmas cards.
So, the idea is to make your postcards from old Christmas cards, following the USPS guidelines for size. At least 3 1/2 x 5 inches and no larger than 4 1/4 x 6 inches. You can finish them, embellish them in any manner you like. SUGGESTION: If you embellish, I would suggest mailing them in an envelope.
Because it is for Christmas and we all get pretty busy this will be limited to FIFTEEN postcard swappers. That is so that you'll not be too overwhelmed with making the postcards, as you will send ONE POSTCARD TO EACH PARTICIPANT.
- SIGNUPS are NOW OPEN, will close on NOVEMBER 5th.
- PLEASE EMAIL ME YOUR:
- "Real" name
- forum name
- mailing address
- email address
I will compile a mailing list and email it to all of you.
MAILOUT DEADLINE IS: NOVEMBER 30th. Start now so you'll be ready BEFORE the deadline.
*SPECIAL NOTE: Being able to make the cards and mail to ALL participants is important for swap follow through.

Umm, not sure where my post went but, I am sorry CJ I will be unable to joint this swap. I really wanted too but with my eyes I can not. My eye surgery is not until Nov. 22nd and I still am having trouble seeing.
But, enjoy the sway Farmgirl friends and I am looking forward to seeing your creations. All our farmgirls as so talented!

Hi girls,
My postcards will be going out in tomorrow's (11/16/16) mail. I do have to tell you that they are not recycled Christmas cards but they are my favorite Christmas postcards with vintage images on them. I hope you'll forgive me and that you enjoy the postcards.

Hi girls!
Just want to let you know that I mailed everyone's postcards out bright and early this morning... I just loved making these. I hope you all enjoy them!
I emailed CJ, but wanted to share with you how much I enjoyed this! I have saved so many cards over the years, now I know what to do with them! Not only did I cut the covers for the postcards, I cut and saved the inner sentiments for my other card-making projects, and saved any trim that could be used as borders or accents in other projects! SO happy!
And my mother was thrilled to hear what we are doing, too! She recently started going through the multitude of cards she has saved over the years, putting her favorites/the most beautiful ones into albums. She had no idea what to do with those that remained, and really hated to pitch them. She thinks CJ's swap is absolutely brilliant, and has already starting making her own Christmas postcards this year. She loves the idea of recycling, she loves how easy they are to make, and she loves the idea of saving on postage! Once again the farmgirls inspire! THANK YOU!!!

WOW! You are quick, Nini! I also had thrown out a lot of cards and can't find the few I saw recently. Had to go out and buy some cards to recycle. LOL!
