I am always fasinated by the view of where we all live. So, I thought why not start a topic about that.

Show us pictures of what you see out your windows. Front yard, back yard, side yard!

Post as the seasons come and go so we can see the changes with you.

Enjoy!

Here is my first set of summer photos here in my Florida garden.

This is my view out of my front kitchen window that faces the east.
As you might have guessed. Florida does not have season changes like up North. It pretty much looks this way until we get a real cold snap of sudden drops from 80's to 30's. lol

this is my butterfly bush...I adore butterflies of all kinds!

View outside my back door. This is my garden. The plant on the middle trellis is a pole bean. There are raspberries in the corner by the box and licorice in the box.

What a wonderful subject idea! My garden is the front yard, where I have a vegetable and herb garden, blueberry bushes, citrus trees, rose bushes, orchids, and a butterfly flower garden:

I didn't realize that most of my pictures are close-up of our visitors. I will try to get out this weekend to take a few pictures of the garden itself.

Wow! I love all the variety. This is so much fun! When you are a home bound person with chronic illness you look for ways to brighten your day. I heard recently to not think of yourself as being closed in by 4 walls. Move yourself over to the window and look outside.

That got me thinking of this topic when I look outside my windows in any room of my house. The view is different from all 4 sides of my house.

A Room with a Window reminds me I'm shut-in but not shut-out. I can finally get out of my house more often than in years past which is a huge blessing. Never take your ability to get out of the house for granted.

Thanks Joyce. The sun has come out but the temperature has continued to drop. Looks like we're going to go minus before long.

What great pictures of your yard Joyce and Mary Jane. That is amazing how the night with the snow makes it look blue outside. Then the next morning all bright and sunny but still snow on the ground.

Here in Florida the only way to notice that it is winter is the grass starts to turn brown. But most of the trees are still green. I love our blue sky all year round. There are some days it does get gray but very seldom.

HI! I'll join in! Must say the other views are quite beautiful in their own ways! I love our place but as soon as our daughter graduates we will head back out west where we both are from! We have all kinds of critters here that visit us, from deer to raccoon, opossum to fox and MORE!!! The pond is full of bass and brim! This is our view from the right side of our back deck. Just a few weeks ago! :)
