I'm Lenora. I live on five acres in north western Virginia with my man, JC, two cats and 11 hens. I love gardening and crafts. I work as Administrative Assistant at the Rockingham County Landfill for 5 more months.
I have a daughter, son, grandson and granddaughter. I'm looking forward to earning merit badges.

Hey Nora, welcome to "the Farm" from way down here in Sunny , hot Florida!! I grew up in Charlottesville, Va. and I think the state is just beautiful no matter which area you live in. Keep us posted on what projects you are working on at your little farm too!

I was visiting family in northern Virginia back in March. I lived there as a kid and it was wonderful being back there after 30 years! Crazy. Even got to walk through my old house which was surreal. Anyway, welcome from a newbie. :)

Welcome Lenora! Such a wonderful place to hang out! Enjoy working on merit badges! They are a great way to dabble in activities outside our comfort zone! Cheers!

Hi Nora, and welcome. The merit badges are a fun way to get right into the whole MJF community! I am looking forward to earning some more this fall - summer is just such a busy time for farmgirls. I agree with Debbie -- Farmgirls ARE awesome, and that includes you.

Hello and Welcome Lenora,

I would love to see pictures of your lovely sounding farm life. I used to visit MD, VA, WVA and WDC for my summer and winter vacations so I know lots of the state well. If you have time and can post a photo of your farm that would be wonderful. I love seeing where everyone lives. Here is a small area of my front yard. I love plants of all shapes and sizes.
