I use it for amigurumi. I little goes a long way on these projects. I save any pieces that are at least 6" long and glue them around a Stash Tea tin or a butter box so it looks like stripes. I cut a piece of felt for the cover, embroider on it and glue it in. A person can use up a great pile of leftover yarn on these projects.

I've never seen amigurumi. I'll have too look that up. I'm not very good at using up the leftover things. You must be very crafty Marie to come up with such great ideas.

Denise I don't knit or crochet but I do use yarn for crafting ~ hangers for mini crafts ~ clothes lines when hanging calico aprons on garden flags ~ to add texture and design to fabric art.

I have been using some of my smaller left over pieces as stitch markers. I use colors that are opposite so they stand out more. I have been saving my bigger pieces but haven't decided what I will do with them yet.
If the piece is long enough, it can be used to tie around a small gift package. Would look cute with brown Kraft paper - either tie the yarn in small bow or tie on a glittery ornament. :) If you google using baker's twine for gift wrap that would give some example ideas, the sugar n cream yarn seems really similar to that to me, just a little thicker.
