Hi Ladies, My sister, Terry, was just given the dreaded information that she has Breast Cancer. She doesn't have all the details yet. Tomorrow she goes to see a surgeon. She is handling it quite well. She knows God knows all about it and will take care of her. It's still a difficult time for her and her family though. She would love prayer and lots of it. If anyone would like to send her a card of encouragement, she would love them. Please email me for her address if you want to send her a card. We are very close and I don't know what else to say right now. Thanks in advance for the prayers.

Brenda, I am a breast cancer survivor. 5 years clean this August. I had biopsies, surgery, chemo and radiation. I put it all in God's hands and by his grace he got me through everything. I will surely pray for her. Emailing you for her address.

Brenda, I am so sorry this is happening. Please know my prayers are with all of you. I know it's early yet, so things are confusing, frustrating and scary, but we always have to remember that God really is in control, and He loves your sister and everyone who loves her more than anyone can ever comprehend... To be sure, she is in the BEST hands with Him. Such a blessed assurance, indeed! And your sister's attitude makes all the difference, God bless her! Please continue to share with us, especially any specific prayer needs. And let her know, we farmgirls have her back - and yours - in prayer! Much love, Nini

Thank You all so much for the prayers and kind words. Things are moving so fast for my sister. She saw a surgeon today and surgery is going to be on Wednesday the 29th in the morning. She told me today I can't believe that my mammogram was on the 6th of June and now 20 days later I'm going to have breast cancer surgery. God sure is moving this along quickly for me. God is so good!!

Thank You again for all the support.Mary Jane Sister's are the best friends to have.

So thrilled to hear the doctors are right on top of this, Brenda! It must feel like a blur the way things are happening so quickly, but that is DEFINITELY a good thing! God IS good! I'll be praying! Hugs - Nini

Yes it does seem like a blur, but we are very grateful God is moving this along quickly. Everything is falling in to place. Oh how wonderful and gracious God is. Couldn't survive without Him!

To add to my sister's concerns are her teeth. She is in the middle of a root canal and has another tooth that is causing her pain. She's hoping to get something done with it before Wednesday. At least to relieve the pain. As she says, I can't seem to have anything happen to me unless it's several things all at once. Why can't I be like other people, one thing at a time. LOL

Wonderful news!! She had her surgery today. It went well and the Doctor was able to get all of the cancer. It did not go to her lymph nodes. She is home and able to be in her own bed tonight. God has been so gracious and good!!! We don't know how people without God can manage to get through things like this.

Thank You!! to all of you for Praying for her and sending her cards. She will have a while to heal, but is so happy for the results.

Thanks again and lots of Big Farm Girl Hugs to all of You,

Farm Girl Hugs,
Brenda
