Hi Beverly,

Next year, you need to control the caterpillars. At the Master Garden office, we tell our clients to use Bt on the affected plants and leaves. It is still considered organic because it is a bacteria the caterpillars injest, but does not harm mammals or birds. I think the commercial name is Spinosad.Keep in mind it IS still a pesticide and you need to follow the instructions/weigh the benefits.

They can be very destructive.

Good luck!

Nicole
