Marcy, I took a fall and spent Sunday in the emergency room. I am bruised from my arms to my toes. I sprain my left ankle and am in a black Frankenstein Boot from my knee to my toes, my tail bone, both hips and knees have bruises and contusions but thankfully nothing is broken but they are not sure why. They took 21 xrays to be sure, I was in so much pain, thank goodness for pain pills! I have two artificial knees so I see my Orthopedic Surgeon Wednesday to make sure that the appliances in my knees are not damaged as I fell hard. My tail bone and ankle hurt the worst, I have to sit on a donut with a soft pillow on top. This old gal is soooooo lucky girls as it could have been so much worse, so I am down until I see the doctor on Wednesday which is fine as I hurt too bad to move. Truly I am so happy for the pain pills or I could not get through this as I have fibromyalgia and arthritis so bad so my fall did not help.
So March you package will be a wonderful pick me up for me so thank you. I have all of your treasures it is just a matter of getting them all packed up for my guys to mail.
I hope all partners have made contact and are working on getting your packages out. If you have not heard from your partner please email me personally so I can check it out.

I am so glad your ok and it wasn't any worse. Boy falls can really do us in as we age. I am praying for you a quick recovery and that your knees will check out to be ok.

Wow Debbie, I am glad you are ok after that big fall. You take care, I know what it is like to fall and you fell harder than I have. Having artificial knees makes it scarier. So take care Ok.

Debbie, you are so blessed that your injuries were not serious. Rest is best and restorative. Take care of yourself.

Thank you all my Farmgirl Sisters for your kind words and prayers, yes I am feeling so very Blessed!
I do not like being idle let me tell you as I have so much to do but, I did finish all my post cards for that swap and I am working on a wash cloth for my son, a pair of socks for myself and still trying to learn the drop spindle! So much to do and so little time, but things will get done in due time just maybe a bit later than I wanted.

I am so sorry to hear about your accident. Please DO NOT worry about my package, that is not important at all! What's important is that you rest and take care of yourself. I'm so sorry that you have been suffering, it breaks my heart when I hear about anyone in pain. I'm so glad that the meds are helping you feel better. Know that you are thought of! I hope you feel better soon and if there is anything that I can do, please let me know.

What special plans do all of you have for the 4th of July?
Our neighbors across the way loves to throw the neighbourhood 4th of July party/BBQ every year and invite any new families than have moved into the community. So, we never miss it unless we go out of town, their parties are so much fun and we enjoy meeting our new neighbors!

Julie your package went out in the mail today....which I just realized is also Flag Day! How fitting to be shipping patriotic items on Flag Day!
I don't know exactly what I'll be doing for the 4th yet - maybe a daytime visit to our local history museum. Our city has a fantastic 4th of July celebration on the shores of Lake Washington with live entertainment and a fireworks finale that's always fun to attend too. For the past couple of years I've stayed home with my parents who aren't up to getting out any more. And comforting the cat who doesn't enjoy all the commotion. We usually have a special barecue dinner and make homemade icecream. Alot of families in our neighborhood set off fireworks so we can always can see and hear some fun stuff from the house, and we always watch the Boston Pops Concert on TV and listen to a number of marching band CD's that we have. We are fairly close to a reservation so there are always plenty of loud booms and illegal fireworks that can be seen high in the sky, too.

Sweet Marcy, I got your package today and it was just the pick me up I needed, I love everything and will be sending you a personal email.
I did not get totally bad news from my Orthopedic Surgeon but not totally good news either:-) I am really tired tonight gals and hurting so will update you tomorrow.

Julie your package FULL of goodies arrived yesterday. Wow...you clearly had fun shopping in town! I absolutely love everything - especially the patriotic flag table runner with the Campbells kids and the daisies on the reverse! I'm definitely going to have a well decorated house and self for the 4th. And we'll definitely try out the Bacon dip mix from your hometown. Thanks for being my swap partner!
