Been trying to think of something to make and I thought about a Memory Box. Below you will find the makings of the swap. Here goes....You will have plenty of time to do it up right! Think Shabby Chic or Victorian or Retro.
When you sign up, also put what style you like!

1 box..a wooden cigar box from a smoke store, a wooden box from Michaels or Hobby Lobby, something you can either paint, stain, or cover with lovely paper. Please none that are already covered cardboard.
After you paint, or stain, or cover with paper your box, you will decorate the top with embellishments, paper or fabric flowers, ribbons, lace, found objects, old bits of jewelry, bits and bobs of special things. Just make the top beautiful, worthy of holding special memories.
You will want to make the inside pretty also..paper, fabric, felt, you know what would be beautiful!!
Include feet on the box..spools, old wooden beads, metal pieces, anything that would do for feet.
Sound like fun?? Hope so....
Now, we will have a long enough sign up time. Sign up ends June 10th
This will give you time to find your box and assimilate your supplies and pretties.
Send out will be June 30th.

Beth Jones! I have to confess, I "started" creation of my memory box to my partner as I anxiously await her name... already loving this project so much, that I'm headed out to purchase additional pretties to create one for myself, too! I know my wonderfully loving farmgirl swap partner will be sending me one to commemorate the swap, but I'm just not sure I can wait that long with out one to get me started yesterday! And, for heavens sake, why should any girl stop at having just one memory box of their own!? You have inspired me... to create additional beautiful keepsakes for my family, my children, my non-farmgirl friends. Thank you for the inspiration! May the worlds beauty surround you always!
