Doris, I'm so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Even when we know the inevitable is near, we are never truly ready. I am praying for you and all who loved your Mom. God Bless you all.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, to all sisters. Your precious words do help. Peace has started to gently creep into places where sorrow had just started to take root, and I'm sure over time, JOY will begin to fill-in and take over some of those spaces as well. Keeping in touch with you all here is one of the best highlights of my days. Sorry, I'm short on words of encouragement for others right now, but trust that I am keeping up with your posts and you all are in my prayers!

Marilyn, i love the cow and the other little squares. I have a picture in my laundry room that has three little square frames in it. I used fabric that has words like farm home, eggs etc. The small squares will fit them perfectly and i'm framing your cow and she's going to sit above them. Thank you and wow, great job!

Ladies, thank you for welcoming Miss Moo into your spaces.One reason I love them is for the way they gather around and welcome the new babies into the herd, when their mom's, the fresh cows return to the milking parlor.They are so much like us.

Dear Marilyn, I received your adorable fabric yesterday! I love, love, love the cow! Your painting of "Annabelle" will definitely be framed for my sewing room! You spoil us so! Those little farm squares you shared are so sweet! (Sad to say..maybe out g-grands will never see a small farm without our farm girl types taking them to one.) Those squares will go into quilts for them for sure! And, your square with the dressed up animals is so cheerful! Thank you, for all of it!

Thank you for all of the kind words. You all are so thoughtful. Thank you to Darlene R. and Debbie F. for the cards. So touching to get extra mail from my sisters!
And thank you to Marti S. & C. Martin for the fabric squares received. This exchange has been extra special for me.
Looking forward to the next exchange. If no one has volunteered, I think I have a neat idea for the next one. Wouldn't mind hosting it but would need a large window since I'm handling other affairs right now. Maybe a Sept 1st mailout date ??? Not sure who decides these things but I am an eager student. Just let me know.

Not sure if I said this before, but I think I see a lot of farmgirl themed things going up in the kitchen soon. . . as well as some awesome pillows. These prints are just too dang cute to put in a quilt that will be used. More likely to use the wonderful things in a way that will be seen and adored more often. And we all know that the "HEART" of a home is indeed the kitchen!

I am now HOME! So glad to be home, however, the temps in Michigan were so much nicer than the 100 degree + temps in Texas.
Can't wait to pick up my mail to see all the goodies in squishy envelopes. I have a quilt retreat Thurs and Friday and hope to finish several quilt tops from our squares, plus a few others from other swaps. LOL!
