Gals, I am still out over $500 in payments not received for the cookbooks. If you haven't sent your check or money order, could you please do so ASAP!!

If you have mailed your payment but haven't received an email from me saying it was received, please let me know. I've tried to let everyone know when their payments arrived.

For those that ordered multiple numbers of books and are now ignoring my emails, please know that I will warn others!! For now though, lets just believe its an oversight.

Diane,
My check went in the mail 12/19 and is yet uncashed. For the sake of friendships lets hope that payments are still enroute. :)

Some of us live in places where anything less than priority mail may take three weeks or more in shipping. I know that sounds ridiculous and I wouldn't have assumed such myself, but I've recently ordered etsy items that have arrived with more than a 3 week old postal date. I'm sorry lateness of payments is causing you to panic after all your hard work. I'm sure checks are in the coming.

Diane,
I am so sorry that I haven't sent you the payment yet. I have been away visiting family and thought I would get it sent off from here. But the post office would only do US dollar checks and the bank said I had to go to my own branch - go figure (I think he was just trying to get rid of me!) I will send it as soon as I get home, but that is about a week away.
I am really, really sorry!
Best wishes,
Jayne

Diane -- my payment went out on 12/15. Please let me know when it arrives.

Nothing against any Farmgirl but I would not have mailed out the cookbooks until I had received payment. Hopefully everyone will be honest enough to pay.

I checked my records and my payment was sent in nov. I feel very bad about this. you put so much time and work into this project, and your own money. I hope this all sorts itself out soon. You did a great job and I love the cookbook.

I can only assume that with the storm and all the power outages and cable being out that some of my emails didn't go through. I have looked and most have the little check marks beside them that indicate I did in fact reply to say payments have been received. Hmmm...

Anyway, Nancy I did receive your payment, thank you so much.
Kay - I am emailing you.

I think I have heard from everyone this afternoon with one exception and I'm not at all concerned now. VISA will be so pleased...lol.

Take care ladies...all is well and I will likely delete this thread shortly.

Hugs to you all,
Di

Diane - I am so glad that you were able to hear from all of our ordering farmgirls but one. You did such an amazing job on this cookbook - my good friend and my mom are loving theirs, too! THANK YOU!!!

Diane, I sent an e-mail through the board yesterday. I wasn't expecting you to say anything back, but after reading this thread I'm concerned that you might not have gotten it.

I'm concerned that Kay's check went out 12/15 and you still haven't received it. Mine went out Tuesday, and I worry that you won't get it for a long time.

Please, you don't have to send my book until you get payment. That's only fair.

Diane, I emailed you with the date I sent my money order, only now I can't remember what date that was. I think I sent it the day after Christmas, the 26th. I sent it in an envelope my husband bought at the post office, with the special sticker and postage.

Robin can you do me a favor and check your email to be sure you never got one from me. I KNOW I emailed you (I even remember doing it!) and I'd be real interested to know whether it went through or not. Maybe I got me some kind of computer gremlins!

And thanks to Julie (willowtreecreek) who is waaaay smarter than me, I have figured out how to invoice and receive PayPal payments if that makes it any easier for any of you. Don't know why I didn't just do this before! Hindsight is 20-20 as they say.

Tina I did receive your payment very promptly shortly after you mailed it. Sorry if you didn't get my email confirming it.

Oh well DUH!!! Why didn't I think to pay you by PayPal?? As we talked about before -- if you don't get my check within the next week then I will just pay you by PayPal and can tack on a little extra to cover the fees. Then you can just destroy the check if it ever shows up!?!

Kay, that sounds like a great idea. I remember in the beginning Paypal wasn't an option; that's my favorite way of doing this sort of thing.

Diane, if you'd prefer to change things and go that route, I trust you to destroy my check whenever it arrives. Paypal would be so much faster and safer for you.

Let me know your preferences.

Diane - I got your email today about your bank getting fussy about accepting USA checks. If you continue to have that problem, let me know and I will pay again through Paypal and you can destroy my check you received. I was not aware of the Paypal option when I mailed my check. Glad you are hearing from everyone!

Diane, I also would be glad to use paypal if my check didn't go through.... and into your account! Just let me know how to go about it. I'm so sorry you're having these payment issues to deal with.

Ann

I can pay by paypal as well. My husband is sending money from Montana and I was planning on paying Monday anyway. So sorry for the delay. I have the cook book out on my table to remind me. What is your paypal e-mail?

Just read Missy's post and went "oh great". I bought an extra cookbook to give her as a Christmas present. Stuck it in the closet and forgot about it. Now I read where she bought one for herself. So I have an extra cookbook to sell if anyone wants it. Email me privately if you're interested.

I'm heading into town in the next hour to find out what the bank's problem is. For some reason they put through the first batch of checks I deposited, but returned all the ones from the second deposit yesterday. Why, I have no idea. Soooo....I will let you all know what's up when I get home.

For those that prefer, my paypal email is daisyfarm@shaw.ca .
