Hey Alicia,
your wonderful seeds came in the mail today. I love the way you designed each seed packet to match each flower seed. As for the card....I am a total "Tea-aholic" and your card is just too cute! Did you create it? If so, you are so clever...by the by, green & purple are my favorite colors and those are the colors you used in the "tea cup" on the card.
Thank youagain, & as my garden grows, I will see bloosoms of friendship.

Hey Sarah! the package came today!
oh gosh..so nice..lavender, fuzzy face sunflowers, moonflower seeds..garden gloves, a handmade card..and a chamomile/peppermint/raspberry tea blend...
Thank you so much! will be adding these pretties to the farmgal garden.

did you create the tea yourself?
it's a good thing that I just got a mesh tea ball..I can brew some of the tea later today.

Thanks!

Farmgirls are the best!

Tina

Hi Grace,
I wish I was the one that made the beautiful cards but that credit goes to Katie. I had fun printing the seed packets. I never knew things like that were around. That Alenka Printables is my new favorite site. I'm glad you like everything.

Alicia,
I may have to "copy" & make a pattern from the hand made card you sent to me....it really is cute. Katie is very artistic.
I too luv the Alenka site & use it often.
Well gotta head over to my daughters to feed my "furry 4-legged grand kitties & puppies while my 2-legged kids are up in Washington. I love all my furbabies...

Renren,
got your address & I will send out you surprise seeds on Wed.
A garden, no matter how big or small brings pure joy.
When my daughter was small we would plant 1 sunflower seed in a clay pot and after it grew about 3-4 inches tall we planted grass seeds around that sunflower seedling...as the grass grew we would give it a "haircut". It was fun to grow the single sunflower in the grass in that simple clay pot.

I'm glad you liked your package. I didn't grow that particular tea but I am going to grow it this year.

I got your package in the mail today!! Yea! It has such lovely things in it. Seeds, teas, a small town living sticker, a wax warmer and beautiful cards. I love how you packaged your seeds. You must have been reading my mind. Over the weekend I had my nose in a Native American Healing book and it was talking about 'Indian broccoli' aka milkweed. I was thinking, I should try that. The little mini gourd was pictured in that book too. And blue is my favorite color, the Lilly of the Nile looks so pretty. Thanks!!

I need to get busy planting my seeds!

Blessings....
Sarah

Hi Erin and Tasha!
I got your package Erin. Thanks so much it was like a house warming gift since I recieved it the day we moved into our new house. Tasha, I'll let you know when I get your's. Since we just moved into our house I'm having trouble finding the seed box in the garage at the moment. If I can not find it by Friday I'll just pick up packets from the store, but I really think that I have better seeds that I have saved back then what I'll find in the store. Sorry it's taking a little longer then expected but we just moved into the new house on Saturday.

Shannon,
What a delight to receive your packet today. I can hardly wait to plant the Heirloom tomatos as well as the melons & Black-eyed Susan Vine. I have not seen Black-eyed Susans in eons...
Thanx for the "Aunt MArtha's" kitty transfers....gee how did you know I like kitties...heeheehee.
I am keeping my fingers crossed for sunshine & NO winds this weekend. I did not get to plant any of my seeds last weekend, so keep your fingers crossed for nice weather this coming one.

Sweet Peas are my favorite. My grandmother had them growing up against an old iron headboard on her farm. Sure do miss her! I'm glad you enjoyed the seeds and journal!
