Hi Kathy,
just checking to make sure I correctly sent my info (address) to you last night.
I am looking forward to the seed swap. If you end up w/an odd number of swapers, I don't mind swaping with two. I have lots of seeds, envelopes & stamps, LOL!
Oh befor I forget, there is a site where one can down load "Seed Packet" envelopes for free....it also has Coffee & Tea bag envelopes ,,,& candy bar wrappers...all free. It is call:
alenkasprintables.com
Have a glorious day.

I printed up a few seed packet envelopes yesterday...and have already filled them w/seeds for my swap buddette. I need to make a few more for one of my "partners in crime" (co-worker & friend)to share with her.
I also used the little candy wrappers to wrap up Hersey Mini's which I will bundle in sets of 4 with Tulle netting, tie off with red 1/4 ribbon and place on my co-workers desks for Valentines Day. The site has so many great printables, even some Red Hat stuff.

Mornin Gals - I have not had any more signups for a few days. Do you want the cut-off date to be the 20th or do you want to run the rest of the month of Feb?

Spring is getting closer every day

My vote would be to go through the 20th if you haven't had any more sign ups.

What are the rules for the seed swap? Any guidelines on quantities, types, varieties? 15 seeds per packet or 100? Five packets or 25? Sorry if I missed this earlier... I am kind of floundering as to expectations....

I dont' think we've set out any guidelines for the seed yet. Other than to say that they don't HAVE to be from your garden, they can be prepackaged.

I would like to vote that we end the entry on the 20th. I'm planning to get some seed into the ground soon. For those of us with a mild, or short growing season, the window to plant and see blooms, fruit, etc. is not very big.

Hi Brenda - No worries, there are no great expectations for the seeds, they can be from your garden or prepackaged. You can send the person/persons names you get whatever you like and are comfortable with.
If you are interested in participating please email me your full name and address so I can add you.
Think that the 20th will be the last day for this so we can begin putting together our gifts.
I am thinking ahead to having a May Day Gift Exchange next

Okay, I think I have caught up with you girls on the seed exchange and finally sent in my address...how else would seeds find me? Sometimes i wonder how I make it from point a to b...anyway winter is wearing on me and I cannot wait to get somethings growing. Hopefully the snow and ice will melt soon and warm temps will find their way to my little piece of the world. Just let me know what I need to do next.

Hi All,
I have my seeds set out in their nest (egg carton) & ready to sort through for swapping. I have printed up my "seed envelopes" from the "alenkasprintable" site....so I am sitting here with seeds in one hand & gluestick in the other waiting for the countdown to find out who my swapping buddette will be. Wahoo, it's almost the 20th....

There is still a little time left in case you have forgotten to give my your name and address - late tomorrow evening I will have the names together to give out on the list - when you get your partners names you can then email me back for the addresses. Sound good?
