Anybody know what this is? It came from an individual who also owned a harp and a bowed psaltery.

That is a Dulcimer. It is a mountain dulcimer. I've often thought about getting one. You can make beautiful music with it.

It looks just like one of the four we own. So much fun to hear Scott's-Irish folk music played on them. They use them a lot in the Apalachian mountains.we used to know a maker. I made a quilt for them which they used at folk festivals. My husband and sons each made their own. I really enjoyed the festivals.
