what a great day I'm having. I havent done ANY housework & don't intend too. Im drinking tea & reading, I'm in the middle of Henry James' Portrait of a Lady & sipping tea.  Hubby & daughter made me a cake & dinner so I will finish this day exactly as I started it, doing only what I want. It's a bit self-indulgent but I love it!!

Thanks everyone, it really was a great day. So close to Christmas b/days have been very "lean" but the best gifts are the ones that are free like "TIME" and I had it & it was great.
