I don't think I ever shared a photo of our baby we got a few months ago. My older dog thinks it is "her" puppy. Here they are together. Wherever one goes, so does the other. She is so sweet.

She has been surprisingly easy to train, very smart and no chewing issues as long as she has her toys. She has grown FAST. She is half lab and half shepherd. Her ears are so big and funny, and she is so affectionate. This is a recent bit of snow. They love to play in it!

Thought I'd share a dose of cute today.

Farmgirl Hugs,
Nicole

Nicole, both of your babies are fine looking dogs. Those are some big ears but like paws maybe she will grow into them.

Thanks, Sara, though my chihuahua seemed a bit disappointed, they are now all a "pack". I love her ears, they are so stinking cute! One is lopsided, which adds to her charm. She is six months old now.

So sweet!!! We had a shepherd once whose ears were so huge on his head (until he grew into them) that they crossed over one another. I'll have to see if I can find a picture! The shepherd we have now was thankfully not a chewer either... now if we could only train her to come more obediently when she has been let out front accidentally...

I am in love!! Your puppy is adorable! What is her name? When my puppy was younger she also had very large ears to grow into. We nicknamed her Radar!!

Oh, she is so adorable. I think it's great when there is more than one dog in the family. They have playmates. It does make life interesting!

Krista, her name is Scarlett, after Scarlett O'Hara. My daughter named her. She is so sweet and I love how much my older dog loves her. The chihuahua loves his big sisters, too (though he is older than the puppy).

My dog is part German shepherd and I have known so many sweet shepherds. And sweet rottweilers. And sweet pit bulls...you get the picture.

She's with my DD there.

And here, she KNOWS she is not allowed on the bed (unless we have the "dog sheet" on and she is invited, but one day she couldn't help try to snuggle. Soooo cuddly!

She thinks she is still the size of my chihuahua, though!

How sweet! We got our lab a nearly grown puppy last fall and it's been great for both of them. The dog we already had was overweight, probably due to boredom, and the new dog ran him around so much he dropped 18 lbs. It's so great for them to have buddies!
