Not the best pic, but check out this tea towel that my friend's mother did for me! She is soooo talented and her stitching is as beautiful on the back as it is on the front. I love that she picks out things that are funny and quirky!

I have probably 20 or 30 of her towels now. She also does aprons! Just wanted to share :D

I do, too! I love the font. In fact, she is trying to find that particular font to purchase it.

I noticed that you also live in E. Texas! Are you going to do anything for the Jubilee?

I agree, Grace! I need to get better photos of the ones I have. My favorite one says "What the crock?" and has a picture of a red CrockPot on it. It's so funny!

Amanda, like your tea towel and it's beautifully done. I have a pattern with mason jars that I finished last week. There's something about mason jars that makes me smile.

Sara -
Is your Mason Jar embroidery pattern one of those with numerous designs in the package? I'll have to look for something like that.

Amanda, Love the tea towel, the saying, and especially the font? Do you think she would share where she got the design? I looked online and haven't found it. I looked in Sublime Stitching also thinking it might be one of theirs?

Here's a site for iron-on patterns http://www.colonialpatterns.com/

The mason jar pattern I have is an Aunt Martha's and was in a book of patterns. If you go to books on the above site you will see it.

Linda, it's in a book with veg & fruit.

I sure do like the patterns you found. I will have to order them. The embroidery bug has bitten bit.

Awesome!!! She also did the "Jam Packed With Love" one. I adore every one of her towels. I used her days of the week towels (with vintage chickens) for my kitchen curtains!

I love the Aunt Martha transfers. I have on my to do list, some vintage patterns for my vintage camper. My favorites are the dancing vegetables, and the Bonnet ladies. I just may have to dig them out tonight.

So pleased to find the site for the tea towel embroidery! Thank you for sharing. I missed the mason jar one. After putting in my order, I found it. Ach! Not willing to pay another $8 for shipping for a $1.60 pattern so will wait for the next time. So impatient!

Jan,
I found the pattern at Fleet Farm, just happened to be there and they had flour sack towels on sale, dug through the patterns and there it was! I don't know if you have Fleet Farm near you, but I've been lucky finding things there.

Thanks Denise, we don't have a Fleet Farm but I decided to order it anyway and theyou only charged me $3 for the shipping. WAY cheaper than the gas I'don't pay for if I ran around hunting for it!
