Judith, your fabric arrived yesterday. Thank you for the three colorful squares. Such fun for a little girl. The PO messed up the envelope, but put it into a plastic bag and it arrived in perfect condition.Thanks.

Marti, I received your fabrics today. Cute!!! I love the high heels, and my oldest grand daughter is written all over it. Do you remember where you got it? I also love that little saying.
My younger grand daughter and I just recently had a High Heels discussion. I told her that we were required to dress in high heels and dresses when I began teaching in 1969. No pantsuit any kind. After a few years pant suits began to appear, and the school board said we could wear them as long as our tops covered our rears. We still had to wear the high heels. I told her I could run in them, as was sometimes necessary when teaching little children. Maybe that contributed to my knee replacements and sore ankle.

I wonder what I am not doing correctly to cause my envelopes to be damaged through mailing. I tried to seal the corners this time. Such a puzzle.

Because there were 3 pieces of fabric, and they did not look like they were ironed to flatten them, I think they were a little too soft or thick and got caught in the postage meter. I always have my postmistress hand cancel my fabric envelopes so they don't have to go through the machine.

Yes, I have received 3 envelopes and the fabric everyone picks out is so cute and what surprised me was they match my colors of the fabrics I set out.

Marilyn, I got both my fabrics at Joann Fabrics. Aren't those heels adorable!! I love them too, and got extra fabric so I could make a tote bag for my granddaughter. The youngest is getting a beach back made from the mermaid fabrics.
I remember having to wear dresses to school, they finally made it so we could wear pants when I was a Junior I think (that dates me huh?!)
I wouldn't be at all surprised if that is the reason your knees and ankle are having issues now either :(

Judith, my squares from you came in a plastic bag, they had demolished the envelope you sent in. the fabric is fine tho and I love them!
are you using steam when you press them? I have a clapper that I use on them as well and that helps them to press flatter I think.

I received two pretty fabric squares today. One is pinks and the other is teddy bears. I love teddy bears, so does miss Baylee at age five when they moved into their huge new home, and as we slowly moved their toys to the new home, many of my bears went missing. When I asked she told me she loved them too. That was 14 years ago.

I was able to open more envelopes today. I was gone for the weekend to a friends cabin last weekend, I was so excited to look at my fabric squares, they are all so cute. It truly made my day. They all go to together so well.
If anyone did not get squares from me let me know and I can send them, I have some extra.
