I have added Cindy to the list. She makes a total of ten in this swap.

I will send out the addresses this afternoon. Thanks all for joining. I will start a post for the girls fabrics later today also.

My fabric is cut, folded, ironed, and in envelopes. Just need to make labels, stamp, and take to post office.

I hope you love the fabrics I found in my stash. Since they are from 2007, I doubt any of you will duplicate them.

Iron it flat. I just got Betty' s fabric from the Easter/Spring swap. She folded hers in thirds, long and narrow, then for a #10 business envelope, she folded the end of each piece over about 1 and 1/2", @ ironed them flat. She put the pieces into the envelope with a folded end on either end of the envelope, sealed it and added one stamp. (49¢), address, etc. No tea bags or tucks.

I put the 2 squares together, offset on the right and left by about 1". Then I fold the bottom up 1/3, and the top down 1/3, and press. Then I fold in the 1" on each end and press again. They will fit in a #10 (business) envelppe and can be mailed with one stamp. I always take them to the post office and have them hand cancel, which my PO does with no problems. I will take pictures later and post them tomorrow.

You don't need to send tucks, but you can if you wish. We are in this for the fabrics :-) and that is my reward.

OOPS! I missed this one!! Will get my girly fabrics for next month!

(We need a chicken or a barnyard swap! Hint, hint, Linda)

If I added anything to the envelope it would make postage more so only fabric. Marilyn wrote how I folded my fabrics.

One of the ones I mentioned was a "farm" themed swap. Chickens would definitely be included in that. LOL! It will be after the girls fabric. How about that? Buy your fabric now. LOL!

Pictures of the way I fold the fabrics to mail in #10 (letter) envelope.
First lay the fabrics together offsetting top fabric 1" to right.

Fold the 2 fabrics into thirds and press.

Fold each 1" end in and press.

Slide into addressed and stamped envelope and take to the post office and have them hand cancel.

Hope this helps, Krista.

OOPS! Pictures are upside down, but you get the idea. LOL!

I have started a new thread in the Stitching and Crafting Room category where we can showcase any projects made using our 10" squares. Many of us have made quilts, table runners, and other projects using them (Marilyn's Christmas quilts for kids, Beverley's Christmas Quilt, Maryellen's Valentines table runner, Judith's Valentines quilt). This will be our own Virtual Quilt Show. I started it off with my Christmas quilt top. Please join in.
