These apron patterns and colors are awesome. Farmgirls can also look fashionable and have useful items at the same time. Love this group of farmgirl sisters and look forward to all the upcoming events.

Love all the aprons ~ the one with the little pockets is my favorite. Perfect for my wee flock of three.

To choose what should go on a FarmGirl poster is tough - the list of our interests is so long. So I will list my three favorites.

1. Aprons
2. Chickens
3. Gardens

Gotta add mason jars because I just love the graphics of mason jars with zinc lids.

My ideas for a Farmgirl poster would include these favorites:
1. Chickens
2.Making cheese, butter and bread ( sort of a combo of Milk Cow Kitchen and your bread recipes from over the years)
3. Aprons
4.Gardens
5.Wall Tent Living

Great ideas so far. We might produce a Special Issue of MJF in the fall and our publisher wants us to include a poster, folded and bound into the mag. Just wondering what you think might work. Working title for the poster anyone? The issue will be Farmgirl DIY.

Here's a quick close-up photo of the little compartment pockets on our egg-gathering apron:

Love, Love, LOVE the 'all things gathering' apron!
Our Chapter is super excited to participate this year and we would be beyond thrilled if that pattern was available before Jubilee. We have also thought about making a Chapter flag with little felt aprons representing each of the Farmgirls in our Chapter. The mini-garden is also a super cute idea! So much fun, we can't wait to celebrate!

MaryJane, I like the idea of a special issue for DIY and the poster is added fun. I racked my brain for a title for the poster and this is what I came up with. DIY Farmgirl Style

I like it Sara. Simple and what is. Especially if we do a collage of photos as suggested. Thanks! And it matches the title of the issue.

I am joining Sara in liking the idea of a special issue for DIY and including a poster like we've been discussing. DIY Farmgirl Style has a great ring to it!

The up close photo of the little pockets apron is really cute. That pattern is my favorite even without chickens to collect eggs from. The little pockets would work well for other gardening and home projects. Pockets are great on just about everything if you ask me.

Mary Jane, could show some simple ideas for Farmgirls style for city dwellers? I was thinking decorating, also laundry and kitchen.

MaryJane -

Will both versions of the apron be in the one pattern, so we can make one or both?

Okay, I have been MIA for quite some time, but just last week, I announced on my chapter FB group that I'm hankerin' for a gatherin'! And here now I am reading about the Jubilee! How on earth did I miss this last year!?!

Anyway, I am very excited about it for this year! And celebrating aprons!!! And egg gathering aprons! What!?!

So, I'm in East Texas and I'm planning for a gathering at my farm. I'll be following along here and I'd love to meet other Farmgirls, too! This is really exciting :D

Carrie made two separate patterns but she said tomorrow she'll see how much work it will be to combine them if possible. It's just that for the kits we need two separate sets of instructions so that's the direction she went.

Thank you, MaryJane. I understand. I asked, because when I saw the pictures, it looked to me like they were made in almost the same way, except for the placement and configuration of the pockets.

Love the little pockets on the apron!!! Perfect for my eggs while I'm poking through the garden.

I also love the poster ideas, but for me no farm girl poster is complete without a cow :)

Speaking of Aprons,,, I know I am a bit ahead of myself,, but inside on the porch of my wee shop I have hung up my Jubilee apron from last year and my banner and a recent issue of MJF magazine...
Now I can get to work on my 2016 Jubilee apron! Whoot Whoot!

Phew. I think we're almost there. Carol and I have combined the two apron patterns into one and Carrie will take one last look at it tomorrow and then Lucas will make them available on our website. I will let you know tomorrow the minute we have them up. We did a photo shoot today of my two grand girls wearing the child's version.

Of course, kisses for my kitty cat, Jasper Tomkins afterward.

And here's a pic of my two girls milking the lovely Miss Daisy two weekends ago (in their pajamas). Farmgirls through and through!

It's Riley Blake's Farm Girl. I bought it in the pink, blue, and ivory color-ways for my three oldest granddaughters. Super cute.
