We don't have a garage or carport nor any other shelter for vehicles, which includes nothing for our little glamper trailer. So, I'm trying to be sure to clear the snow from it's roof, which I've done three times since Christmas!

And, the snow is piling up around it so you can't even see the tires!
I'm grateful she is small enough that I can do the roof from a ladder and it doesn't take terribly long. However, it is making me weary because our last snow was DEEP!!! I cleared the roof Thursday afternoon and by Friday morning there was almost a foot of NEW snow on everything, so I cleared it again yesterday

hey CeeJay,,, one trick folks do (back in Spokane) is to put an old uber lite weight Dingy type boat (turned upside down) on the roof of the trailers... then a heavy duty tarp over it... it will make a pitched/pointed roof... or maybe take some wood or tin roofing,, attach to make a 'V' and put upside down on the trailer roof... then as the snow builds up,, it will slide off like on a house roof.
Just a thought,, I am sure twixt you and DH you can come up with some sort of 'Winter' roof...

Boy, that sounds like more work than just sweeping it off! It's a tiny little thing and not a whole lot of trouble . . . but who knows!

We have reservations to go glamping in mid-June to one of our favorite spots for a week. We were there last June for three nights.
But I'm thinking I'll need to check the campground out at least a couple weeks before that to see if the snow has melted off . . . could be interesting!

Buy a roof rake! Our house has a bad ice damming issue and we bought one at Home Depot. It does a terrific job and will save your having to climb up to clear the top off. You may even want to use it for your house.

We actually use a nylon bristle push broom and it works great. Use it on the deck too, unless the snow is really heavy or there's lots of ice.

Think of the calories that are adding up on your fitbit from each snow fall. ;op Maybe you can add an activity for the calorie burn. Although the other ladies have some very good answers in my quest for a healthier me I like to think of it as additional calories burned that will help the waistline a touch over time.

Oh, Emily . . you can bet those shoveling calories are added in on my Fitbit. Because it's connected to Map My Walk I've already been able to add "shoveling" in as an activity there and Fitbit calculates it in with everything else.

Well, we just keep getting snow . . . so far not another MAJOR "dump" and I hope we're done with that. But, one has to keep shoveling and sweeping and plowing!

Boy, it finally stopped snowing last night about bed time, but then it got COLD! Today was windy and bitter . . . UGH!
However, I'm glad for a break in the snow . . . mercy! Haven't had to sweep the trailer though because with her curvy top it's been not too deep and is shedding off.
