Jana -
I have a whole separate building for my craft room and it is FULL of UFOs. Scarves to knit, gifty items to make, quilts to make, table runners, wall hangings, and lots of fabric for ideas yet to be thought of. LOL! Just my closet looks like your picture.

Trust me Linda when I say you are not alone. The photo is only one section of a room that is dedicated to my craft room. The room is over flowing with projects, plus I have a stash in my closet and my daughters closet. It is embarrassing. I work full time and come home and sew another two to four hours most evenings trying to bet the clock for Christmas.

ROFLOL! Yes, I'm not alone. Just the other night I decided to rearrange my craft room, for the 1000th time, and didn't finish. I never get it finished before I'm dragging out something and making it look like a tornado hit again! It is amazing that I can still find things! I finished a tablecloth with my blocks from the 10" fall swap. It looks amazing. I'm going to do that with my Christmas blocks too. I made fall table toppers, toilet paper pumpkins, oven towels, stuffed pumpkins, pillows and other little do dads. I gave some, sent some off to friends and used some myself. Off today to visit my 95 yo Aunt and her neighbors. I always take them some things and they love it! Me too! It is better to give than receive! They bring me joy!

You gals crack me up! We are kindred spirits! Jana,, I am adding you to the list...
I had thought about donating some fabric and simple sewing tools (scissors, needles, thread, etc.) to the local Women's shelter in the town down the mountain, but upon inquiring,,, was told they had no way to store or maintain the stuff, Bummer... But I just might search out the 'Battered Women's Shelter and see if they would like sew/crocheting/knitting supplies, since the women there are usually there for weeks to 3 months... We'll see...

Maybe you could ask if you could just come and teach a crochet or knitting class. And then the ladies could pick out the yarn need for the project they want to work. Win Win for everyone.

ok... finally finished up a scrap quilt that has been sitting on my UFO stash... I had stitched up the scraps probably about a year or so ago... Today I pulled the squares out and TaDa! lap quilt... I added a Covers of Love label and it will be given to a young person in need of a quilt of their very own...
 laying them out...
I took this pic before I removed the safety pins...
all done... This is a great way to use up lots of small left over fabric... no muss, no fuss, no fussy cuts... my kinda quilt! lol!

Love the quilt. I love, love, love scrappy quilts.
I finally finished the binding on a quilt that has been on my bed for 2 years. Add that to my UFOs completed, Kat (#1 on my original list). Also add #5 - finished the binding on that quilt this month, too.

Jan - my sewing room looks like that right now. As soon as one project gets done, another 5 take it place. Projects are as bad as rabbits and coat hangers when it comes to multiplying.
Grace - Love your scrap quilt. I might do that myself after I get through the holidays. To many projects to complete before then.
I just finished the binding of a bunch of leftover blocks from a quilt top I made. I have a lovely blue, green & purple lap quilt now. MY lovely daughter is trying to make off with it though.

Hey girls, I wish you the best in your projects! My "project room" was piled high and then, with health challenges coming my way, I started passing a LOT of things on. Only a very few people who have seen the room before and after know the difference because it's still very full! But I really don't have UFOs right now . . . just stuff to start some if I ever get there again. CJ

Oh My Stars,,, I came up with a cute penny rug crafty idea and went digging through my wool craft container... ummm, yikes! guess what I found,,, yep 2 unfinished wool projects and about a dozen patterns,,, bought but never even opened! I really need to get a grip on my UFO's... or,, I could just re-pack them up and tuck away and open a bottle of wine and kick back to some cool jazz music... hmmm thinking, thinking...

Hay there.
Well, I finally went to the first page to see how everyone was doing. Wow, Mz Grace, you and Mz Linda are knocking those UFOs off your list!!! That is so awesome!! I only have one toothie grinnie face! And its November already. I am still working on several UFOs but not quite finished with any of them. My personal goal was to finish 5!!! Didn't quite make that.. But my new goal for 2017 is to finish 4 !! (Gonna try to be a bit more realistic.) Heading into the studio in just a few minutes. Ta-Ta !!
