When you respond on this thread, you are taken to a message box. Right above the space where you add your message is a row of grey formatting boxes. The second to last grey box in that row shows a photo with an arrow curving up. Click on that box to upload an image. You will choose it from your computer files when prompted. Hope this helps.

Hi Mary,
The postman brought me the most wonderful package last night! I love, love the bird picture, it's absolutely beautiful. The bag-pillow case is awesome! And the chocolate is so yummy. I am a big time chocoholic so I don't think those kisses are going to last too long.
Thank you for such a great package! hugs. Marcy

Look girls what I receive in the mail for my mail art. I do not know who the sender is, so whoever you are, Thank you so much. The picture doesn't show just how wonderful this book angel is. My person did a wonderful job making this beautiful angel. The angel is made out of clay. She took a lot of time to make this. It will go on my book shelf. And the card and envelope I received is all quilled. So beautiful.

Sherry, your partner was Marcy Lundy. I think there may be a little confusion about the mystery part of mail art. We like the surprise of not knowing who our partners are until we receive our mail art, but we do like to know who sent it once it comes so we can give acknowledgement and thanks.

I received your most wonderful mini book, Tamara! That was really creative, I love it! Did you take a picture of it before you sent it? I don't have a way to post a picture unless I maybe find someone to help me next week. To describe some of it the best I can for everyone, though, it's in the shape of a gift tag, 3 3/4" tall and 4 pages long, with short ribbon tassels attached at the top of each page where you would normally put string or whatever to tie the tag to a package. The cover and each page are decorated in collage style. I love how each page has one big letter on it, starting with "B," then "O," then can you guess what's next? Yup, "O" then "K." There is sparkly bling in each page, too, and a cut-out phrase from a book or magazine source (I'm assuming), encapsulating something you might find in a book. It's really a cool way of meeting this month's mail art challenge. Thanks again, Tamara!
Blessings to you on your life's journey. |

Dear Karen, I got your book yesterday, and I feel as if we are good friends. Your clever use of recycled materials, your description of your home and your life just amazes me. Bless you, sister!

LuAnn, thank you for my wonderful mail art I received today! They are gorgeous!! You are one talented lady. The weaving is sooo intricate and is the other one some kind of punch? It is fabulous! Everything is so delicate. You can fill my mailbox anytime with those!!

This was a fun mail art swap. Kristine, thanks for hosting, and thanks for including my roo and camper felt tags in the magazine. When I first looked at the two page spread I did not see them...I was in awe of the beautifully creative things featured there. Wow! We sure have some talented ladies.

Beki, I do hope you like it!! I felt so badly, I mailed it on January 30 and when I checked the tracking it kept saying delayed. I was in doubt that you would ever receive it. I also felt badly that I had somehow missed that the theme of the month was books. I guess with a four year old interrupting me in a near constant fashion, I get more distracted than I care to admit!!! This was my first time trying the mail art. I may have to practice more before I sign up again!! |

Sarah, I just got my mail on Saturday we can't pick it up till then because the post office is closed by the time we get home. I live in a small town of about 1000 people and the doors to the post office close at 4:30 during the week. The necklace is amazing you are very talented and copper is my favorite metal. The tea's were very thoughtful too. I will try and see if I can post a picture maybe tomorrow. I like the words you used in the necklace. Thank you so much. |

Hetty, don't you dare think you have to "practice" art before you can share it! The joy of art is in the making of it and I'll bet we've all had a 4-yr-old or two to distract us throughout the years! Making art is a distraction from the daily grind :-) |

I mailed out mine late I am sorry my husband took it to the post office Saturday. I took a fall on the ice in front of my house one morning going to work and had to go to the ER My arm was in a sling, I landed on my elbow and wrist. I am on the mend and the sling is off, elbow is still sore and there is a big big bruise. The mail art should be there by tomorrow I would think. |
