I had to go to the bank to make the final deposits for the year here at work, and while I was out I stopped to look at fabric. So, I just got back from the local quilt shop with my 5 yds of fabric. Now if I remember correctly, I fold a yard in half & cut, then fold each half in half & cut again. Right?? I should get them cut this weekend and in the mail next Wed. (I heard from our mailman that the Postal Service will not be working Tues due to Gerald Ford's death).
The dimensions of a fat quarter are 18" x 22". Hope that clears up any confusion, I can't wait to get these off to everyone and see what comes back as well. What fun! Thanks Elizabeth for organizing us.
I sent my fq's off in today's mail. I included a stamped and addressed return envelope. You should have them in two or three business days. Thanks again!
We've had a weekend of strep (kids) and sinus infections (me) so I am working on that project today! It is going to be so much fun to see what everyone sends and even more fun to make something with all of them!
