I have decided that with all the confusion and to start the Fat Quarter Swap all over with a new sign up. Here is how it works and the rules. Sign up here till Dec.19.2006. Then I will let everyone know how many to send and my address. Then everyone will send that number of fat quarters to me along with 6.00 for return postage by Jan 31,2007. Any packages that come in after Jan. 31,2007 I will reject and send back. This swap is open to all members including new people. I will swap out over the week end. and post them to you on Feb 5,2007. I know my my rules seem strict however here is why. I am not well and I need time to sort and get the packages ready then I can't go to the PO so DH goes for me on Mondays. So I need to have it easy for him. I hope no one thinks I am mean I am just learning how to live with limits. So rules are important for me to stay balance. If would like to join us please sign up under this post. Thanks for understanding, Hugs, Elizabeth

I'm new to swaps....how does the FQ swap work, exactly? Do we send a specific color, etc? Do the FQ have to be specially purchased, or can one cull from their personal stash? |

Jennifer they can be any color as long as they are quilt shop quailty. They can be some from your stash as long as they are something you would want to recieve. I will let everyone know how many once the sign up is complete. You will mail that number to me along with 6.00 for return postage and I will sort them out and send everyone a package back. Come join us. Hugs, Elizabeth |

Me too! Our local quilt shop is having a "Fat Quarter Frenzy" on Dec28-30th so hopefully I will get something everyone will like. They also do a weekend where they sell fat quarter "25 for $25.00" . That's alot of variety for a good price. Sounds like fun to me!
