I live in the city so I can't have much of a garden. I grow many thing in pots. Today I got salad greens and fresh tomatoes out of my container garden for supper toight. Ah heaven. The tomatoe smelled so good.
Happy growing,

That sounds wonderful Elizabeth! It is satisfying to be able to grown ones own food...whether on our patios or gardens, it is all the same. Nothing like the smell of sun ripened tomatoes!

It's it great to have your on fresh veggies! Last year I tried my hand at container gardening and it didn't go so well. I watered once a day and it needed more water. I should have set up a better watering system. Congrats, Elizabeth!

You can also try growing fresh herbs in pots! Adds much to your salads and veggies, and if they get out-of-control, you can dry them so they don't go to waste. I have a small container garden outside, and have planted beans, carrots, various lettuces and beans so far.We had some light rain today, and everything is coming up. Not bad for this area of the country.
