I love their emails, and that's how I got the New Star Wars layer cake on sale. LOL! That is a great sale price, Marilyn. Usually the layer cakes are $45.00 and higher.

Just make sure it is not a mini-charm pack - they are only 2-1/2" square. And it is free, but costs $5 to ship it.

It is 5" squares, but I have resisted ordering any of their specials, because I think I would need to order some fabric also to make the shipping costs come out better. Next time I need a certain pattern, I will check.

Marilyn, I received your squares today! Thank you, for the sweet tag also..Great minds think alike. One of my fabrics is like yours...its a good thing I purchased a third fabric. lol. Today is a fibro day..body doesn't want to do anything. I'll do some cutting tomorrow.

Judith, I am sorry you are having a difficult day, I understand, I've had a difficult week, pain wise, also. I hope you will feel better very soon. I had three fabrics. Everyone got the black with hearts and I split the others up. I don't know what anyone received. Ha, ha!

Speaking of pain, I learned something day before yesterday. I went to our women's clinic with painful breasts. I do not have any harmones and did not know why I have pain.(always a cancer fear). I was told to take vitamin e, 400-800 units daily. A study showed that the older we get we need to suppliment.

I received your squares today. I almost chose the black with hearts, but my husband who was with me at the time, felt I should chose another print instead. It is similar but a little different. It seems that like minds think the same.

First I ordered the black with hearts. Then on eBay I found only one yard of a red and white heart print. Then in early December I went to see my oncologist in Fort Worth and just had to stop in at JoAnn's where I chose a yard each of two other prints. Imagine my surprise, when I finally found the two cuts I had ordered...Now I had two pieces of black with hearts.

So sorry Judith. I have fibromyalgia too, and Hashimoto's disease, IBS and osteoporosis. I think the weather affects my pain and exhaustion. Hope it eases up for you.

We do not sound like a marathon group. I think the weather has a lot to do with our pain. My cousin says I should move to the desert. It is dry and folks don't hurt so much. But I told him that living five miles from that fault line was not my idea of fun.

Thank you, ladies, for caring. I probably hurt the least of all of you. I'm quite a bit better today..just a tired from yesterday.
Marti, I had to look up Hashimoto's disease. I knew I had heard of that.
Marilyn, I will surely try vitamin e. I don't take hormones either, and have similar breast issues and fears.
I was thinking...oh, no!...If I were to piece signature blocks from the valentine fabrics and mailed them to you with a self-addressed, stamped return envelope would each of you be interested in helping me complete this project. You would just sign your first name, city and state, and a favorite "word". One of my favorite words is "gentle". So, I would probably use that. Then, I could finish the quilt and give it to the Crisis Center, or Women's Shelter or hospital. Of course, I would show you all the finished quilt. What do you think? Would you be willing to help?

Aww, thank you, Cristy! We can wait until all the squares from this exchange go out. Then I can send out information. I think this would be so simple that it would be easy. Of course, maybe we could do a swap (like make a signature block (there is a pattern) and send one from this exchange to each of the participants. Then everyone could make their own quilt or even pillow cases or anything. Your offer to help is sweet!
