Thsnks Portia for taking over and Judy for all your work. Look forward to these swaps and am decorating my 5th wheel with all your lovely cards for Christmas as I have no room for a tree this year. We are in the 5th wheel for the winter in Fl so limited space.

I decided to take a break from the card swap this month as I have a new grand baby boy due any day now and will have lots to do with watching his two older brothers while momma, daddy and him are in the hospital. I am hoping he waits until after Christmas, but his due date is Christmas day... Oh well we will just have to wait and see. Christine

I received Marlene's card, and it is very cute. She gussied up a bought card with snowman and snowflake stickers. Very clever. Here in north central Texas we are waking up to snow. Probably an inch. But it is very pretty.

I too received my card from Marlene. Very cute and gussied up . I sent all of mine out today. It is even cold down on the TX coast. No snow like Marilyn, but a very cold 47 and sunny. Will freeze tonight.

Hey ladies,
Just wanted to let everyone know I have to cut back on swaps ....Our family has just kept getting bad news. I can do my ornaments but the January card swap will be my last card swap for awhile. Anyway as most of you read in my biography my son was killed will be 8 months on 12th of January. My husband's stepfather has been given weeks to live due to cancer, there is just nothing the doctors can do as it is all over . My husband has to be prepared to be a pallbearer pretty much at anytime. Also, Sunday night a week ago my mom suffered her 3rd mini stroke (she is also a cancer survivor) she has some major medical conditions. and my stepdad has to have knee surgery the 8th of January so please just keep our family in your prayers at this time.... We just really are keeping our faith in this storm of life...Thanks for understanding.

Oh Angela, I am so sorry for your stormy period. I guess we all go through these periods, with our parents.You are needed as you serve your family. I'm sorry for the loss of your beloved son, I did not know about that. May God bless you. If you don't mind I would like to send you a card from time to time to cheer you as you walk this stormy path. You do not need to feel obligated to send cards to me. It is just friendship.

Oh Angela, I did not know this either. So sorry for the troubles you are going through. Just remember that God is always with you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you. If it is alright with you I too would like to send a card or note out of friendship.

I do need encouragement from time to time ....I think we all do and that is why I treasure my sisters and friends here so much...I can still do the ornament since it is just one thing to do ....Thank you all for your patience and understanding. Had a tooth pulled yesterday and it is not doing good at all...

Praying for you Angela. And if you receive an occasional card from a farmsister just know it is because we want to encourage you and share our friendship with you. It is so hard when there are so many things going on it can get overwhelming I know. But it is nice to know others are thinking of you and praying for you.
