I never knew what these things were called until suddenly I started seeing them EVERYWHERE! So I decided to find out how to make them and made these two first:
I am going to put them on an apron I am making for a gift out of that same striped fabric along with a few more yo yos I made out of some holiday fabrics...going to embrioder at the top of them to make them look like ornaments.
I have made a few now and I am loving it! I did a mass cutting of fabric yesterday and have a bajillion circles!! LOL!
I like the buttons in the center. They look like candy canes for Christmas. heather Bailey's blog hellomynameisheather.com also has a section on yo-yos. My daughter got the bug after we made some for sunshine's girls. I never thought to put some on the aprons. Ahh.. next time around.
