Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! The pictures of all of the tags are beautiful! What a great bunch of people you are. I am so happy to have joined in on the fun. I am thankful for the swaps.

Hey Mary,
That is awesome I am so glad you both enjoyed them!! My husband was a bull rider years ago. The guideposts Joys of Christmas is a tradition around here. I started it for our family, they remind me of the old Ideals book my grandmother used to get. I am reading a couple of poems at our church Christmas program this year. Have a wonderful Christmas everyone!

To all my recipients - I will most likely be late in mailing my tags! I am trying to finish up other swaps as well, and now have four sick children and an injured Achilles tendon. Please bare with me... I will get them out ASAP!

Shannon, no worries! Don't add our tags to your stress plate. Take care of those babies and I'll be praying for them and you. Hope your achilles tendon heals quickly, that's painful :(

it worked! I did it!
on the right it's hard to see what it is at that angle, it's a Christmas tree made from rolled paper with teenlly little buttons for ornaments and bells. I LOVE the trunk at the bottom lol

Marilyn, oh my, took 12 days for yours to reach Shannon? It's getting to be that busy time

I have to tell you girls a story about mail. I mailed a birthday card on July 6th to a friend who lives about 12 miles from me. She gets her mail from a small post office that is different than mine. Sometime in early October the card came back to me as undeliverable . . . THREE MONTHS LATER!!! It was postmarked Albuquerque, NM.
I called her and told her I really did send a birthday card in time for her to get it on her birthday on July 12th and told her I just got it back. So, I put it in another envelope and mailed it again. So she celebrated her birthday again . . . three months later!
And she lives 12 miles away! Go figure! Yes, she got it about three DAYS later!

In years past I had confidence in our postal system, but this year, they are off their game. It should never take 12days for something to go from Texas to South Carolina. Christmas cards usually don't take a week or longer to arrive.
So my message girls: is your print out May be worthless. You can track your packages with the number given. Shannon's was in her box but it really wasn't.Same with Marti's. Shannon showed up, Marti's did not.....So you may want to mail early enough to "be sure it arrives before Christmas".
