Jaime, your swags are beautiful.
I bought 2 bags of apples on sale today to start drying tomorrow. Will use the dried slices for simple swags and garlands. Saw them in a magazine. For garland alternate dried apple slices with cinnamon sticks and wooden beads strung on heavy twine. Tie a knot between each piece.
I'll have to look at the swag again to figure out how it's made.

CeeJay, can you post us a little view of some of your Fall decor? Last week in New Mexico, we saw some Aspen trees all golden in the upper elevations. Are they that way out your way? Plus it was nice and cool in the mornings which felt just wonderful!!

Here are my indoor fall decorations:
Dining table
Old pair of western boots that are only used for decorations (they go glamping with us too)
Sofa table behind the loveseat
Aspen burl bowl my hubby made full of silk leaves on one end of the coffee table. Table is glass topped so you can see what's underneath
On the end table by couch
On the entertainment center
