Hi, We've made excellent hot pepper jelly from the recipe in the Sure-jel package. One batch was only using extremely hot peppers, and the other was similar to Ellens's. It is so good, I like adding a spoonful to spaghetti sauce, or to top off some soups when serving. MMMMMMMMMMMMM!
I have never made any- though I wish I did this past summer with all the hot peppers I grew. I did buy some at the farmers market and had it on a cracker with cream cheese. YUMMMYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is also wonderful for dipping egg rolls or won tons in!! or just tortilla chips! I made a bunch last year. Sounds like the recipe that Ellen posted..very close.
