I recently found a new/retro pattern for yoyo toys,, at a Thrift store for .50 cents... and here is my old 1970's original one..

yep, what is old, is new again...

here is a yoyo doll that I bought at a Thrift... it reminds me of
"Zippy the Clown"... a similar yoyo doll that was manufactured in Westlake Village, Calif., back in the early 1970's... I did what was called 'piece work' for the company,,, each week I would go and pick up several large trash bags of cotton batting and stitched yoyo's.. I would take them home, stuff the yoyos and then return when they were stuffed, and get paid per piece. I think it was around .2cents each.. so I had to do a lot of stuffing and fast.. but it allowed me to make a little extra money while my baby slept.

Those are neat, Kat. I never had a yoyo doll of any kind, but my mother made yoyo wreath ornaments at Christmas time.
