Hi girls -

Our friend's mother hasn't been feeling too well for a long while. She waited so long that she wound up in the ER over the weekend. Test results came back - it's colon cancer. She's loaded with it, her son told us, and the doctors are not hopeful. She is undergoing treatment and is not doing very well with it at all. She is very frightened and extremely ill. Please pray for Barb, and for her companion Cliff, her sons and their families. It is such a difficult time for everyone.

Thank you so much.

Hugs -

Nini

Hi girls. Thank you for your prayers. Sadly, Barb passed away Sunday evening, as did my husband's uncle up in Boston. Very hard week, to be sure. Please also keep Uncle Bill's family in your prayers. He had been very ill for a long time, but seemed to be doing better and just collapsed and was gone. A terrible shock to his wife, son and their family. My husband isn't taking this very well at all, as Uncle Bill was like a father to him. We are very grateful to have been able to spend time and make wonderful memories with him last fall.

And if you would please say a little prayer for me, too, I'd appreciate it. I'm having new heart problems and have been having tests. I might need a defibrillator now, and not just the pacemaker. Good grief. I didn't think I'd need surgery again for the next 10 to 12 years. I'll be fine, I just need a bit more courage, I think. :)

All will be as it should be. All will be well. God is in control and loves us more than we can ever even imagine. :)

Hugs -

Thank you so much, girls. Really, we're okay. It's just going to take a little time adjusting to the losses, you know? As for me, thankfully, the doctor is going to try managing this heart thing with medication first. I just pray that I won't have another bad reaction to the medicine. Seems over the past couple of years, everything I take just doesn't set well with my system. But I'm happy, and hopeful, don't worry! Life must go on, and we must trust the doctors in whom God has entrusted my care! :)

Amen, Judy - Amen and Amen!

Love you, girls! Life is SUCH a wonderful place because of all the sunshine you bring!

Hugs -

Praying for you and your family Nini. It's always hard to loose a loved one and it's scary when something is wrong with your body. I'll be praying that the medication helps your heart with no bad reactions.
