I enjoyed the first day of Jubilee. Just to keep me humble, and not to be too prideful about how good my clothes pin apron and sun bonnet looks hanging on my front porch I got to clean the chicken coop. That put everything in perspective, and reminded me that even though it might be party time FarmGirls have their work to do.

Have a blessed day, Sara

Yep, a farmgirl's work is never really done. Next time, you can wear your sunbonnet while you clean the coop and look good doing it!!

Catherine you made me laugh at the thought of me wearing a sun bonnet ~~~ you see I wear a face mask when scooping poop ~~~ maybe I could decorate the mask so it matched the bonnet. No, that wouldn't work ~~~ cause I would have to wash the bonnet and I do so hate to iron bonnets. Thanks for laugh, I needed one.

I hear you Sara! Nothing like cleaning up after animals to remind yourself that there is no such thing as a "sanitized" version of Farmgirl! We get dirty and sweaty and wear our work clothes. But we are happy to be doing our work because it just feels so worthwhile!!
