Hello gals, I've mentioned our little son Daniel who was born with a heart defect common in children with Down Syndrome, he was born with a complete AVSD which means he has four normal chambers, one big valve (where there should be two) separating the upper and lower sections of the heart and a hole above and below the valve.
He is 4 1/2 months and his heart repair surgery was scheduled for tomorrow, however, he began running a fever today so his surgery has been put on hold. His doctors have erred on the side of caution and want to rule out a flu or cold as the cause of his fever.
I would like prayers that he does not have a flu or cold that the fever was just an anomaly, that God be with the surgeon and his team when Daniel's surgery is done and that he have a successful surgery and recovery and that God and his angels keep watch over our little son.

Thank you all for your prayers. Daniel came through surgery very well, his doctors are happy with how he is doing. He's recovering in the PICU now.
God is good!

I just saw this and am so glad that surgery went well for Daniel. I am praying for a healthy and quick recovery for him and that the Lord would strengthen his body. I'm also praying for you and your family for strength in caring for him while recovering.
