Hey Girls!!!SPRING IS FINALLY HERE!!!At least on the calendar!!!Surely it can't be long until the wet...cold and snowy weather is behind us:):):)
Can't wait for drier...warmer and sunnier weather!!!

Yes, today the hours it is dark equal the hours it's light. And in my case, sunny. Yay!

We were just commenting the other day how strange and wonderful it was that the sun was still out at 7:00 PM! That in itself was a fresh breath of spring! :)

Happy Nowruz! The first day of spring is also the Persian New Year. (My husband is originally from Iran.) I've got everything ready for our celebration meal tonight. We'll be on the phone calling his relatives in NY and CA too. Lots to do now that the New Year and spring have begun!

This first day of spring at my house welcomes tulips and daffodills just popping their heads above the ground next to the house. But back into the 30ies for the next week. Oh well, mother nature knows it's spring.

Girls I have been watching the little birds at the bird feeders today...what smiles and blessings that our sweet little feathered friends can bring:):):)as we watch them from the front porch!!!

Hey Brenda, did you know the first people in the world to wear pants were the Persians? My husband's cousin is the author, A. J. Cave. That's just one of the many things the ancient Persians contributed to the world!

We have a pair of Chickadees nesting in our birdhouse that hangs on our outdoor pergola!! The little darlins'. Spring is in full gear here in Florida and it is a great joy!
