It seems like the boards have been slow over the past few days. I am constantly getting on here to see what everyone has been up to and it has been pretty quite. Where are you guys? Well I hope all of you are okay! I miss you!

I'm here..just been a wee bit busy with a touch of decluttering, then hubby was home most all day today with a bad cold/cough.
I made some jelly today and canned that up.
and a few things around the home front.

I'm here too Willow,

I've been checking in, but not responding - between work, poultry and sheep shows, fall chores and my daughters volleyball championships the past month has been soooo hectic. Looking forward to the holidays and slowing down a bit.

BTW - WE WON OUR LEAGUE :)

Here I am! Have been cleaning the yard and emptying the big terra cotta pots outside. Son came home from college for Thanksgiving break, so am doing more baking and cooking. (He did his own laundry!)

And yesterday I went and purchased all kinds of greens, holly, rose hips and china berries, eucalyptus and pods for the outdoor Winter containers that I do up for my clients. That was so fun -- the floral warehouse was just full of flowers and all kinds of fresh goodies! Today I pick up the evergreen boughs for our commercial client -- we cover all the raised planters with boughs and pin them in place; dresses up the building for the winter and protects the 2800 Monte Carlo tulip bulbs underneath.

A busy time of year for all of us!

Quilting, quilting, and then need to clean for guests for Thanksgiving. Got to get food, and clean bathrooms. Took a quilting class, and didn't have electricty for over 7 hours due to high winds and cold moving in on Wednesday, so I got behind. Just did cutting! Anyway, looks like everyone is busy, busy, busy!

Been working long hours at the job - but this week our plant is closed for the Thanksgiving Holiday - so I have a whole week to do cleaning, yard work and fun stuff. Haven't had much time to post, but have been reading and checking in.

I'm here, too, still dealing with this bizarre weather (British Columbia: the south coast is floating away in rainstorms and we here in the north are being buried in wet snow). If I didn't laugh, the situations would get the best of me! We were all caught off guard, not expecting snow till late November/early December, NOT October 27th! My wedding day, coincidently...hehhee. Four feet of white stuff, trapping the whole wedding party here at the house for three days. It was actually quite funny and quite fun...

Sorry to hear about all the passings this month. Always difficult but memories can be wonderful things.

Cheers,
Anastasia :)

Hi Julie,
I'm here too! Had the flu all week...on the heels of my surgery, I am sooooooooooooo ready to feel better!
Isn't it lovely how much we all think of this as a place to gather and catch up with friends? I have missed you all too!

I'm here too....Just trying to get some Christmas gifts made and getting ready for Turkeyday. When ever I need a break from either, I jump on here for a few minutes and see what everyone is up to. Sure is a comfort to know you girls are just a mouse click away. Sorry to hear of the losses lately. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Seems like November is the month where we've lost most of our family/friends as well over the years. Anyways, Hope everyone enjoys the holiday, hugs, Luzy
