Hello to all! I am so happy to finally be apart of this Awesome group of like minded lady's. I have been a fan of Mary Jane Butters from the time I stumbled upon her book years ago! When I seen she actually had a sisterhood I couldn't wait to join in. I'm originally from northern Alabama, lived in north west Florida most of my adult life. I'm all about the good wholesome way of life, organic gardening, bird watching, paddle boarding on the bay. I love my family and they are most important to me. I love animals and I love life. I'm looking forward to making new friends and learning new things from all if you. May you all have a blessed day
Aprilla,

Welcome!!!! So glad to have you join us! The ladies on this forum are a wealth of information and are so willing to share!!! Hoping you jump right in and join all the conversations, where it fits your fancy :) By cousin and his family are actually out near where you live!!! I've been trying to convince his wife, who happens to be my dearest friend, to join this forum as well! If she would ever just check it out, I am sure she would fall in love with it, just as I'm sure you too will love the gals on here :)

Hi, Aprilla! Welcome! You certainly have joined in with like-minded gals.

I see you go birding. Florida is a fantastic place for water birds and some migrating species. Our family are birders, too. We live along the Gulf Coast of Texas and visit many birding sites. My absolute favorite is High Island. Its location makes it ideal for both eastern and western species to migrate through.

I look forward to hearing more about your Florida farmgirl life.

A big welcome from Michigan! I'm heading your way in a couple of weeks. I'm making a speedy trip to Valrico to celebrate with my nephew and his family for a couple of days. I have not seen him in years and look forward to giving him and his family a great big hug. You will find the group of wonderful women loving, encouraging and a total wealth of resources and information.

My experience is that this group loves their family and animals passionately! They garden, cook, sew, knit, crochet, do crafts, draw...you name it...there are women who do it. We pray and cry together even from afar. We also find time to laugh and share whenever we can.

Blessings to you and yours.

Hi Aprilla. Greetings from Northern Vermont. I recently joined the sisterhood too. I live right on the Connecticut River, with mountains all around. I can see Mount Washington in New Hampshire from my deck. This place is going to be fun.

Welcome from The Northcoast of California in Loleta, Aprilla, what a pretty name. I have been on the farm a long time and really have enjoyed every one here.
It is a special place with very special people.
