Grace, we must be in the same club. Mine is a disaster. I will have time finally tomorrow to start getting it in shape. I am going to begin the Lori Holt Farmgirl Vintage quilt. It looks so fun but I can't cut anything out until I get the table cleaned off. We're farmgirls, we'll git 'er done!

I am getting things made for a craft sale this coming Saturday, so my dining room and bedroom and hallway and . . . everything - is a mess. I can relate. LOL!

I drive myself nuts at times,,, I start making 'piles'... then when I look at the 'piles' I close the door and pretend I don't have a sewing room! lol! but then I hear the dust bunnies begging to be rescued.... so I timidly crack open the door, fingers crossed,,, and enter, hoping the piles have not multiplied in my absence! lol!

I've even (almost) lost a kitty or two in the chaos !!! lol!

Grace,
I hear you about the piles and having to close the door.... I go in even for 15 minutes as long as I find a spot for something, its a win win. Then I shut the door again and try again tomorrow. I know I will get it done.
At least the kitty's have some piles to play in!

My cousin was telling someone that all of us in the family are pilots. The person hearing was wide-eyed until he said, we pile it here and we pile it there. lol Some days are like that.

Yesterday I finished 13 Microwave bowl potholders, 3 mug rugs, 1 table runner, and am ready to put binding on 4 quilts.

Grace I have the same problem right now too. :( I'm working on the quilts for my boys, and I managed to get the sewing machine out on the table, but my main work surface is just COVERED in stuff. I really need to go through some things....

LOL! Thanks, Denise. I can hardly wait for this weekend to be over so I can relax and do housework for a change instead of messing up the floor and my dining room with sewing projects. This has been a whirlwind production couple weeks.

I will be having surgery on Tuesday. After that I will have a time of recovery. I am planning some UFO activity for this period of time. It will actually be a nice vacation.

Marie I will be praying for your surgery. Linda you are just amazing. I have such good intentions everyday and then around 9AM I have to rest my mind. Ha Ha. Some days are better than others but really Linda you have a wonderful work ethic. I go from one thing to the next. Hoping to do some sewing this weekend and finish up some projects. Raining in NC again, and poor South Carolina is getting rain again. Hugs, Maryellen

ok girls,, am I the only one who feels like a "honey Bee"?
I flitter from one blossom to another,,, never really settle-ing down to one project, then my "legs" get loaded down with pollen and I labourously (sp) fly back to the hive...
(translate,,, see fun projects,,, buy craft/sewing supplies, bring them home, leave on table and fly off for new projects..)
Ah, if only I could stay focused... I just get so excited when I see something new...lol! or do I just have a very short attention span... lolol!

I am kind of like a squirrel. I gather stuff that I could use some day in some future BEFORE I have finished anything. I am so glad I signed up for the Traveling Craft Box. It is good to unload what I do not want and get more stuff that will inspire me. I try to put more in than I take out but . . .
