Please add my name to the list. My goal is to complete one UFO every month.....atleast one! Ya'll are always such an inspiration to me. I am sure that this chat thread will be of great help to me. I have already started, tho. One Quilt of Valor is first on the KNOCK-OFF List. This is the quilt that some of you have sent scraps for me to add and have your name and state added to the letter and label. Thanks for the red and blue fabrics, btw. I still have a need for whites and white-on-whites so if you wish to add to this gift which goes to a Vietnam Vet. then you can send it on and you will be added. Hope everyone has a joyous Christmas. Don't forget the reason for the season!!

Please add me to the list! My hubby would be DELIGHTED if I actually would finish something I start, SMH!

Daizy - I am sure I have some fabric to add to such a worthwhile quilt! Can you send me your address and what sizes you are looking for? Thanks!

Ok- I have pondered this post....2015 will certainly be busy for my!! My second daughter will graduate college in May, my youngest will graduate High School in June. So, not only will I be preparing for those events, it will require me to also finish some UFO's. Please count me in and encourage me to accomplish the "lists" I have already started. I thank you in advanced to help me get things "checked off"

Thank you, Mz Shannon.

Any size will be helpful. I am thinking of putting a 3/4" row of hexis for the boarder of mixed colors so any size will be helpful. My address is: Daizy Bailes, 522 Glade Road, Talladega, Al. 35160.

Thanks for helping ... I will add you to the donation list.

It wouldn't be fair for me to join in because every two months for the last 15 years, NOT finishing my crafting/sewing projects on time has never been an option. Publishing a magazine will do that to you. Some day ... I hope to join you in needing a good old-fashioned girlfriend nudge.

Dear MaryJane,

It would be wonderful to have you join us here! There must be something that you have unfinished or just to peek in on us to give us a nudge, or maybe you can just be our inspiration. Oh wait, YOU ARE ALREADY OUR INSPIRATION!!! And we are so THANKFUL that you are. Hope to see you in this room often ;-)

Well- I know that it isn't quite 2015 yet, but I just finished the 3 Christmas tree skirts for my daughters- they were suppose to be finished last Christmas 2013.... ouch!!! They turned out nice and they will hopefully treasure them for years. Now on to a Reindeer punch that I did but didn't know what I wanted to do with it- It will be a pillow by morning.

Great thread!!

Okay, time for the ugly truth about my UFOs.

These are the things I want to get done:

1) Mending - I have four piles consisting of small repairs, patches, alterations, restyle and tearing stuff apart.

2) Alter a night gown - I just need to put a piece in that will accommodate my chest.

3) Butterfly Dish Cloth - I promised this to a farmgirl a long time ago. I have to design it if I cannot find a pattern.

4) Doll - Another item I have promised to a farmgirl. This will work up quickly if I just get going on it.

5) Crocheted Bracelet - I promised this to a kid in the 2nd grade class I helped with last year.

6) Broach - I also promised this to another 2nd grade kid last year. I'm just going to let this one go.

I will leave this list up and strike out things I have finished and update the list in a new post. I have already done a reality check and decided not to do a project which is way past due. I have also decided not to join any new swaps until all this is more manageable and have decided not to take on any new volunteer projects either. This is a big step for me.

As you can see, I need lots of encouragement.

Four merit badges have been traced onto fabric. I've got one merit badge on a little hoop. Next step will be to thread the needle which these days can be quite a chore. Slowly but surely I have high hopes of getting them all done before I earn the next four badges.

I threaded that needle and finished 2 merit badges yesterday. Took a little bit of artistic license with them by using embroidery, colored pencils, fabric pens, and buttons. Liked the way they turned out.

I read what all you ladies do and it inspires me. Thanks!
