Awww... I hope you feel better soon, Star!!! Thank you for the information! I am a HUGE fan of holy basil tea every couple of hours, with fresh ginger tea with honey (Ginger peeled and sliced thin - we chew on the ginger after the tea is gone! EXCELLENT for sore throats!), chamomile tea, and elderberry tea in between. We also use Organic Throat Coat to soothe the soreness away. A friend just sent me a recipe for sage and garlic tea ('SWEARS by it!), too, so I will try it next time!. LOTS of teas, lots of water, lots of rest... and chicken soup,of course! :) Take care! Hugs - Nini

Thank you Nini! I will go make some ginger tea right now. I've never heard of sage and garlic tea...

star, Thanks for recipe for shower disc and hope you are better soon.
Nine, thanks for the different teas especially the one using basil. I've ordered Holy Basil seeds for next year. Read that it was the best for medicinal purposes.
I keep a tea mixture of Greek oregano, thyme, rosemary, spear mint, for winter colds. Will add basil, sage, to mix, and add ginger as I make it.
