I received this uber mini Christmas tree today... and guess what?
the base of the tree & main stem,,, it's a re-purposed little machine oil can! how cool is that?
Even the 'safety pins' to secure the tags with, have been rusted...
I wish my photo skills were better... but you can get the idea.

I think a cheapo dollar store tree was purchases and then cannibalized (for the branches) a few mini baubbles and what-nots as ornaments, a bit of laundry soap (flake type) made into a "snow paste'.. a re-cycled little machine oil can, (the kind you can re-fill-like for an older sewing machine) and Voila! cute..
