Let's get ready for the good spring weather when we can hang clothes outside to dry. I have been thinking about several swaps to host in the spring and I thought a Clothespin Bag Swap would be a great way to start out.
There are lots of ideas and patterns on Pinterest and on the Internet. You can find directions to make a recycled bag, knit or crochet one (yes, I've seen patterns for these, too), or sew one from scratch; that's up to you! Let's try to have all of these hand-made in some way. If you do not sew or need some ideas, please email me. There are several VERY EASY ideas that require very little sewing.

Great idea!! My pen bag is in tatters and I was just brainstorming about what to do about it. There is nothing that lasts available to purchase so was thinking about patterns. Please sign me up. I will only sign up for swaps that I can accomplish without fail and I can do this easy.

I'm sure there are more farmgirls that can use a new clothespin bag for this spring when we can hang out our clothes again? Signups are open until February 15. We have 14 signed up already. There are lots of designs out there - recycled jeans, little boys shirts, little girls dresses; knit or crocheted; completely made from scratch - LOTS of ideas. Please join us.
