Hello-
I'm Gena. I'm new too. This is my first visit to the website but I've been an avid reader of the magazine for some while now. I'm a native of the Phx, Az area but was raised just outside in a really small town on five acres. I MISS it! I'm definitely a small-town, farm girl at heart and I'm stuck in the suburbs now. I dream of a wonderful old farmhouse on lots of land that I can dig up and plant to my hearts content. I'm a writer; I love laundry dried in the sunshine, flowers, porches, simple things and the like
Hope to make some new friends!

Glad you are here, Gena. As you read the postings on this site, you will find many things in common with the folks here. Interesting question about the real estate.....so far that topic has not become a serious thread of conversation. Maybe because we live far apart, and would not know about real estate in each other's areas. Perhaps you should start a topic on that and find out what knowledge is out there. I have found a little publication at Borders that has country-wide listings on acreage and farmland for sale. At the moment I cannot think of the name of it! Something like Country Farmland Bulletin...it will come to me later and I will post it. I love to read through it and see the farms available in each state and what they are selling for.
Anyway, welcome to you in Arizona, one of the states I most like to vacation in! We have stayed in Flagstaff and love that area.
