Sherone,
My prayer is that you let God help with the healing,to let the pain fade and keep the love. You will always miss your Dad but keeping the love alive is so important.
It is so hard to lose our parents, they made us who we are. We see them in ourselves, our siblings, our own children, our surroundings and in the things they loved. Don't lose that, cherish it.

Hugs,
Susan

Once again, thanks for your loving support. I received a card from CJ yesterday and I just cried. There is so much love in this farmgirl world. Gives me hope in the future. :)

Oh Sharone,

I am so very sorry that you lost your dad. What a great tribute you gave him with his last truck ride. My dad was a truck driver as well and we lost him about 5 years ago. If you don't mind I will send both prayers and Reiki your way. I am also sorry that I did not meet up with you when I was visiting my sister Jan who lives in Evanston, WY. We will be back in the spring. Maybe we can meet then?

My dad would say that your dad has had the greatest ride of his life as he traveled to heaven. Your dad will not be alone up there. One of the things I remember so well is my dad worrying about other people causing him to have an accident and his children being in accidents since he had seen so many as a trucker. No he does not have to worry about getting into accidents and he can watch over us from up there.

Blessings dear Sharone.

Sherone, sending loads of hugs your way. It is always difficult dealing with the loss of your Daddy and even more so on the first holidays without him. Love and peace to you.

I went to read your blog. You write of your dad with words of respect, honor, and most of all love. When I saw the picture of his 'last ride', I was smitten with the line of horses and wondered how in the world you got them all to cooperate. THEN, I read in your blog that there was no orchestrating of the horses. The horses, all on their own, lined up. What an amazing Blessing from God's creatures.

I'll be praying for your comfort during this first Christmas without him.

Thank you to your family for your years of service to our country.
