Hi! I am Jessica. I was here briefly a few years ago, and even tried to start a Dallas chapter but life got overwhelming. Now I have a Kindergartner, 5th and 7th graders all in the same school and I am determined to make some time for some MJF.

We had a house and garden but I have temporarily downgraded to an apartment to take a break from it all and figure out our next move, but we have enjoyed the pool all summer and there is a duck pond and wonderful neighbors!

Not having a garden I am really turning toward the kitchen for my MJF fix. Just ordered by bakeover sampler kit and have made a bakeover 3 days straight! They're the best! Already reordered the budget mix.

Anyway, happy to be here and looking forward to "meeting" you all. :-)

Welcome Jessica, I have been here on the farm only for this month but sometimes I feel like I have always been here.

I grew up in Dallas, then in my 30s moved to the Sherman area for 35 years, and now live in Paris.

Looking forward to hearing what you have to share with us.

Thanks cajungal and Sara. Sara, do you know if there's a chapter for Dallas or near Dallas? I found the Heart of Texas group but seems no one has posted in at least a year.

Welocme back Jessica! It is great to have you back. MaryJane's BakeOver recipes are awesome and so easy to make. They are perfect solutions for a busy family dinner too. Looking forward to hearing more about your Farmgirl endeavors and I hope you will share more of your KitchenMakeOvers MaryJane style!!

Thank you Marly and Winnie. Sara, I'll find out about the texas chapter. I'm happy to try and revitalize it some. :-) Maybe we can work on some badges together from afar. Paris isn't too far. :-)

Jessica I had to smile when you said 'Paris isn't too far'. Years ago one of my doctors told me because of MS fatigue and how it effects my mental powers as well as physical that on a good day I could drive 15 miles from home because I had to get myself back. On a bad day stay home.

If we can figure out how to do the badge thing while being apart I'm all for it.
