I love pretty boxes and so when I see them at the thrift I pick them up. They are handy for so many things and look so pretty no matter when you put them.

Nancy, I too find it hard to resist pretty boxes. Think it started years ago when I discovered vintage hat boxes at estate sales.
Dollar General from time to time has pretty boxes in assorted sizes in matching designs. The prices are reasonable. I bought several that matched my bathroom wallpaper. Made my bathroom look like it all had come from a designer's shop.

Ladies I have to agree, I can hardly resist, I have never found any in a fall print have you? Christmas yes, summer and flowers, yes. I like to organize in them. just to keep items close together that I am working on. And I would love to find some in a fall theme.

| My dollar store has plain cardboard ones in all different shapes and sizes. I notice the lids are a tiny bit too large, which would be good news for découpage crafters. You could also use pretty wallpaper, I suppose, or just paint. To tighten up the lids' fit, you could add a strip of felt around the inner edge. So much to do, so little time! |

I like to buy the plain ones - then paint them (or decoupage) to match whatever room I want them for. Right now I have some small ones on a shelf that I've been meaning to paint to match a picture I have hanging in my living room.

I have not found any that are just plain, I must be to slow getting to the store. lol. I will look for them that way I can decorate it myself. Maybe Hobby Lobby?
