For the first time in many years I don't have chickens! Not okay here in our neighborhood. So... not being one to be without critters I have 2 big aviaries- one with canaries, and the other with gouldian finches. I am learning alot about these pretty little birds and having so much fun with them. Our worm bin is doing really well so thats another type of "livestock." We have our dogs- English bull terriers as well, and plans to get more rabbits. Life is good. Real good. |

Life takes us down many roads with their twists and turns. I figure it's best to look forward and not back (you might bump into something). There are many pleasures to be had in this life and you may find you will like what you have now or in the future just as much as what you had in the past...for sure it's no doubt left you with some pretty memories, enjoy them, and the new memories you are making now. We are creatures of habit and those old habits give us comfort, one reason being is that we know what to expect because we've done that, but the new things you try will in time bring you comfort too. Sounds like you're doing well...hats off to you! |

it is so hard to imagine your new life, jenny, but it is great to have you back....glad you are loving your new life.... I am also on a new journey of sorts....certainly not in the joyous category for sure, but it is a journey that is bitter sweet for the moment and fills with more sweetness daily. lately I have been thinking about renewing my life with animals so who knows where that will lead....trying to learn more about dairy goats and thinking about adding some chickens again.....
